I evaluate the amount of work that needs to be done, and determine a set price. You then pay me 50% of the price before I start work, and the rest after I finish.
During this step I will dig around in my brain to find a style of website or publication that works with what you want. I may create a mood board to have you review. This way, we can agree on a style before I spend a lot of time creating the actual layout. This also helps me find a base for my layout.
I now make a set design and write all the code to make things work. I think that's pretty self-explanatory. This could take between 2-weeks to a month.
